Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) is a premier institution providing quality teaching and research in pharmaceutical sciences. It has strength of about 500 students.its has a history of providing education to great pillars of the pharmaceutical field. DIPSAR provides 100% campus placement to various reputed pharma companies like ranbaxy, pfizer, cipla etc.
==History==
The institute was founded in 1964 as Department of Pharmacy of the Delhi College of Engineering and was located in kashmiri gate, delhi. In 1972, it was converted into the College of Pharmacy, and in 1979, moved to its present campus in Pushp Vihar. In the year 2004 it was named to be as delhi institute of pharmaceutical science and research(DIPSAR). Now it has been converted to Delhi pharmaceutical sciences & Research University(DPSRU)from academic sessions 2015-2016(very first pharmaceutical university in asia) .it has also added additional courses like physiotherapy beside B.pharm,M.pharm & PhD.
